How Burn protects a shared secret

Encrypted before upload

Text and images are encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM. The decryption key stays in the private link, never in server storage.

Burn rules you control

Choose an expiry, a view limit, and a 5–60 second reveal timer. Once a limit is reached, the encrypted payload is destroyed.

Honest leak deterrence

Optional strict viewing adds press-and-hold reveal, a dynamic watermark, and a focus shield. It raises friction but cannot stop system screenshots or cameras.
